Caritas HKC Joint Solutions
“e-Care RFID Applications in Elderly Care Home” Conference
(6 July, 2007)
With the aim to safeguard elders’ safety and security in elderly care homes, HKC pioneers to apply RFID human tracking capabilities in elderly care homes in Hong Kong. In early 2007, a pilot run was implemented in an elderly care home in Shatin.
To share this breakthrough and its benefits with the management of elderly care homes, HKC and Caritas Information Advancement Centre (CITAC) co-organized the “e-Care RFID Applications in Elderly Care Home” Conference on 6th July, 2007 at Hong Kong Productivity Center.
At the conference, representative from Caritas highlighted the benefits of integrating the e-Care Elderly Care Home Management System with HKC RFID solutions. Our accounting manager Calvin Cheng further introduced the RFID technology and demonstrated the functionalities of the HKC RFID System, washable RFID tags, and RFID sensors to the audiences with a role play.
Audiences from elderly care homes showed great interests in the revolutionary RFID applications and actively participated in the question and answer section. The conference ended with a big round of applause.
