Hong Kong Communications Co., Ltd. (HKC)
intercom department had been awarded the intercom project
of Prince of Wales Hospital in Aug 2009. A new building
of Prince of Wales Hospital will be completed around mid
2010 where an Aiphone AN Commercial intercom will be installed
to provide quality services.
The Prince of Wales Hospital is the main regional acute
hospital serving the New Territories East Cluster. It
is also served as a teaching hospital for the Medical
School of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. It was
built in the 1970s and started to provide services in
1984. The current extension project is the first stage
of re-provisioning of the existing hospital's core facilities.
