Issue: |
| High demand and increase in
needs for expansion lead to the requirements to: |
- improve their monitoring process
(by using the correct type of cameras) for their high-end
server PCB boards and different chemical processes
- video archiving for QC (quality
control) purposes

| SingComm
Solution: |
- Using the correct type of
cameras:
- to track the problem areas,
as "a single fault" will cause the entire
line to jam-up
- for different chemical processes,
e.g.: PCB etching, gold bonding; where some of
it may require water-proof camera, weather-proof
housing, IR camera, etc.
- Video footage of the entire line
will be shown to the operator, which assists in better
management and monitoring of the entire line.
- Mobile recording station with 8
units of Wi-Fi cameras were installed for ad-hoc process
monitoring. These 8 cameras can be deployed across
the entire factory floor as and when they are required.
- Installation and upgrade includes:
- 50 cameras and 2 x 32CH DVR
- Production areas
- 24 cameras and 1 x 32CH DVR
- General areas
- 5 cameras and 1 x 32CH DVR -
New plant
- external storage for DVR - for
additional video archive (7.5TB which is equivalent
to 3 months of additional recording storage)
