| HKC intercom department has been awarded
the intercom project in Taikoo Place in middle of July
2008. The system configuration will be included the following
equipments and the installation will be completed at the

IP network compatible communication system
The AN-8000 Series is a network intercom system
(IP network compatible intercom) employing packet audio
technology. By connecting IP intercom exchanges (which
can connect up to 16 stations per exchange), Multi interface
unites, and IP stations to a network (LAN or WAN), and
optimal system can be constructed for in-house or wide
area information communications such as duplex conversations
between stations, periodical broadcasts, and BGM broadcasts.
Since up to 80 exchanges, multi interface units and
IP stations can be combined, systems of up to a total
of 1,280 stations can be realized. The system's "echo
cancellation" feature makes hands-free duplex conversation
possible (conversations made without using a handset
at both parties) between stations. In addition, the
multi interface unit features a contact bridge function
to be performed by way of contact input and output control.

exchange unit and dedicated stations.
- A single exchange unit can connect up to 16 stations.
Stations are available in six different configurations.
These are: AN-8000 MS (master with LCD display), AN-8010
MS (standard master), AN-8011MS (hands-free master),
AN-8020MS, which is a heavy-duty type designed for
use in adverse environments such as factories and
various plants (dust-and water-resistant: IP54), AN-8031MS
(Flush mount master), and AN-8050DS (Vandal resistant
sub).
- Using IP stations AN-8500MS (IP master) & AN-8540DS
(IP vandal resistant sub), permits a system having
no exchange unit to be created.
- This system is equally suitable for use in a small-scale
system with 16 stations, to meeting the demands of
a large-scale system that can have as many as up to
1,280 stations. Once the intercom is connected to
a network, efficient wide area connections even between
remote locations can be achieved.
- The system includes convenient functions and features
such as: Recall, One-touch dialing/Auto-dialing, Group
Call, Group hunting/Absence transfer/Call Forwarding,
Call Hold, and Scan Monitor.
