By GS1 Hong Kong, HKC has successfully become one of
the six vendors for EPC Adoption Acceleration Program
for Wal-Mart. We will be categorized under Preferred
Vendor List.
In this project, HKC offers for Option (A), which is
tentatively accepted. Following is the detail about
Option (A).
Option (A): Tag + Printer + Verification
RFID Wal-Mart Supplier Solution
EpcSolutions RFID middleware is the leading
of RFID compliance software to the Wal-Mart supplier.
epcSolutions' GS1Net3 application platform implements
the GS1 System, a series of standards designed to improve
supply chain management. The GS1 System includes: BarCodes
- Numbering and bar coding; eCom - EDI (Electronic Data
Interchange); Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN)
- data synchronization; EPCglobal - RFID (Radio Frequency
Identification).
RFIDTagManager for Wal-Mart
RFIDTagManager for Wal-Mart allows Wal-Mart suppliers
to easily meet Wal-Mart's RFID requirements for tagging
products being sent to the Wal-Mart RFID enabled locations.
Through point-and-click wizards, RFIDTagManager for
Wal-Mart allows suppliers to setup and configure their
RFID hardware and then print and encode Wal-Mart compliant
RFID labels. RFIDTagManager for Wal-Mart runs out of
the box in a standalone mode or through consulting services
can be integrated with backend systems such as Oracle,
SAP, JD Edwards and others.
RFIDTagManager runs as a epcSolutions' SensorOS application-with
the ability to run as a stand alone compliant solution,
or fully integrated with your back end systems, such
as WMS or ERP applications by Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards
and others.
Label printing and tag encoding
- Tag validation/verification
- Network device monitoring & management
- Database Management including administrative options
- Programmatic interface to order import, print and
reporting functions via the RFIDTagManager SDK
- Generate and Send UDF Receiving Reports required
for DoD
- Import DoD Unique Identification UID data from UID
