Best Business (Product) Bronze Award of 2008 Hong Kong ICT Awards

HKC product, The Library RFID Automation System (LIBRA^TM), awarded Best Business (Product) Bronze Award of 2008 Hong Kong ICT Awards. An official Award Presentation Ceremony was held at 09 Feb 2009 in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre to celebrate the outstanding performance of winning companies and organizations.

LIBRA^TM CD/DVD Solution incorporate CD/DVD case with integrated lock, Front Desk Manual Unlocker, and Motorized Unlocker into a complete integrated system that revolutionized how libraries protect and circulate their CD/DVD collections. LIBRA^TM CD/DVD Unlocker is developed to allow library patrons to borrow CD/DVD materials by themselves without staff assistance. It frees librarians from the extra handling needed on CD/DVD collections, thus allowing them to contribute to other more value-added library tasks and services to the patron and library. Library patrons will spend less time waiting in the queue for borrowing and returning CD/DVD materials.
