Continuous Recognition by
Awarding the Caring Company Logo 2005-07
We are pleased to announce that Hong Kong Communications Equipment Co.,
Ltd. has been awarded the Caring Company Logo in its consecutive year. The
Caring Company Logo is surely a significant recognition of our enduring efforts
in caring for the community and achieving our commitment to realize the duties
as a corporate citizen over the years.
The purpose of Caring Company Logo is to recognize private
companies which demonstrate good corporate citizenship and
have satisfied two out the following six criteria. HKC is proud to have
accomplished all of the six criteria in the last year.
- Volunteering:
Encourage and support employee volunteering
- Family Friendly:
Provide a family-friendly and gender sensitive environment for employees
- Employing Vulnerable:
Be willing to employ vulnerable groups
- Partnering: Develop
partnership projects with social service sector
- Mentoring: Share business expertise
with social service organisations
- Giving: Donate
or give in-kind to the social service organisations
The Caring Company Recognition Ceremony was held on the 8th
February, 2007 at The Convention Hall of
the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The ceremony was kicked off by
the Joint Volunteer Choir Performance led by representatives from all winning
companies, followed by the Welcoming and Officiating Speeches presented by The
Hon Bernard Chan, Chairperson of HKCSS and Mr Henry
Tang, Financial Secretary of HKSAR respectively.
HKC believes that it is the reciprocal efforts of different parties in
