On January 11, 2002, NEC Communications Company Limited of Benxi held its Distributor Conference for the upcoming year at Shanghai. Mr. Liu Chuan-ji, Mr. Wu You-pu from Shanghai, and Mr. Chen Jun, Mrs. Ho Chen Wei-jie from Guangzhou represented Hong Kong Koywa HKC Company Limited in the conference.

In the past year, Shanghai Xi-hua provided the supply, installation and maintenance of the PABX system for the multi-development projects (including hotel, mansion (apartment with maid service), office complex, and shopping centre) of "Ramada Plaza." Guangzhou Koywa also had several major projects of PABX systems, including five-star Dongguan Hotel of Dongguan City Government and Xin-Long Network Company Limited, which was funded by Hong-Ren Enterprises Group of Taiwan and Wong's (HK) Constructions of Hong Kong.

The amount from these contracts was approximately RMB ten million dollars. To honor Koywa's excellent sales figure in the past year, NEC awarded Koywa a beautifully crafted crystal trophy, for Excellent Sales Performance Award for PABX systems.

In addition to the trophy, Priority Distributor's Certificates were issued to Shanghai Xi-hua and Guangzhou Koywa. This is the eighth time consecutively the Group has been awarded and authorized from 1994 to 2001.
